FCC chairman warns of "looming spectrum crisis" for wireless devices.

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5i16vlm3iDn2BQOr_qHdxxk4Q_qTAD9B6LPNG2

Well, Thomas Malthus warned more than 200 years ago of a food crisis as the industrial revolution expanded populations, and that did not happen either. So don't bet against technology. Incresed efficiency in wireless data protocols trumps spectrum capacity all the time.

At last: IEEE approves 802.11n Wi-Fi standard after 7 years.

Palm sold 400,000 Pres in 1st month...but the phone will still bomb, says Blodgett.

http://www.businessinsider.com/henry-blodget-palm-has-sold-almost-400000-presbut-it-will-still-bomb-2009-6

The Pre is still no iPhone, and it's especially no NEW iPhone. It's worth keeping the 400,000 Pres sold in context. Apple sold more than twice that many new iPhone 3GSs in a single weekend.
